In loving memory
Krzysztof Jan Koziol, 1957–2008
Krzysztof was born in Poland and eventually choose to leave Poland, following an adventurous route through Europe and onto a ship bound for Canada. Soon afterward he was able to bring his wife Grazyna and children Micheal and Eva from Poland to join him. Eventually they settled in Surrey, BC.
Krzysztof’s adventurous personality and love of the outdoors drew him to begin working with Brinkman & Associates whereby he became a specialist in power saw work that took him to visit many of the most beautiful parts of BC and Alberta. His travels took him from the remotest inlets of the coast, to mountain peaks in Alaska to oil and gas exploration in the Alberta’s forests. He died in a tree felling accident while working on clearing the boundary demarcation between Canada and the USA.
Krzystof was a positive, gregarious and outgoing person who touched the hearts of many who will dearly miss him.
"Krzysztof's travels took him from the remotest inlets of the coast, to mountain peaks in Alaska to oil and gas exploration in the Alberta’s forests."
